Kris would be an excellent choice of bookkeeper for your business.
I suspect that there will be several other applicants in addition to Kris for the role so I will also put my services forwards.
We are a VAT registered limited company established in 1990. I am a practicing member of the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA). Like Mark we offer fixed price quotes based on the number and complexity of transactions. We do not use skype but, whilst we try to keep business quite local to our Staffordshire offices, we have clients from kent to Edinburgh, Swansea to Colchester and have so far had no issues with distance work.
Similar to Mark we do not charge for every phone call and email. You are not on a timer when you talk to us and we are very freindly and approachable.
Should you wish for us to look after your books we would visit you at the start of the engagement to ensure compliance with Money Laundering rules, sign engagement letters and establish a framework for our services to you. Moving forwards we would thereafter visit you once per year to have a face to face chat about your business, review original receipts and bank statements, etc.
Alternatively of course, our offices are on the edge of 28 square miles of woodland so if you fancied the occassional forest photo shoot you are always welcome to pop along to visit us.
Lincolnshire is one of the area's that we visit quite regularly so it would (weather permitting) be quite easy to arrange the annual meeting at your convenience (I have family in East Keal and I was brought up in Irby in the Marsh so know the fens area quite well).
I can be emailed at Croxley.morris@virginmedia.com.
Please note however that I am only putting myself forwards as a second choice. Professional courtesy dictates that you should of course approach Kris in the first instance. But if there are to be other applicants I just thought that I would put my name on the list.
Kindest regards,
Shaun.
p.s. Paragraphs 4 though 8 added in light of subsequent postings. The original sentiment remains that as Kris was first and is every bit as competent to fulfil your requirements as myself then he should be given first refusal for this role.

Thanks for looking at my post, I'm a photographer, based in Lincolnshire who is looking to turn professional and form a limited company to handle several jobs I currently have on the go. The business itself shouldn't take much looking after perhaps 2-3 hours a month, I have roughly one shoot a month and few day to day running expenses but thats it. It would be ideal for anyone wanting a little work in their evenings/on the side etc.
If anyone is interested, or has any advice; please let me know
Happy to give you a fixed price quote for the following
1. Setting up your limited company
2. Maintaining your accounts on a monthly basis with quarterly management accounts.
3. Preparing your year end statutory accounts and company tax return
4. Dealing with all payroll work
5. Dealing with you own self assessment tax return
6. Dealing with annual return each year at Companies House together with anything else required to be filed at Companies House
7. Dealing with VAT if you need to become VAT registered.
8. Unlimiited email and telephone support
I have skype so can deal remotely and have a few clients that deal with this way.
