I am hopefully just about to complete my Certificate in management Accounting with CIMA, for varying reasons eg cost I no longer wish to continue down the CIMA route and was wondering if I would be able to join AAT at level 4 as there are a few modules that I am really interested in doing to fill some gaps in my accountiing knowledge. I am a finance officer and have been a finance controller previously aand have mentored a colleague through the AAT levels 1-3. Can someone tell me if I would beable to join at level 4.
Yes you will be able to start at level 4. However be prepared for a possible challenge. Many of my students that start at level 4 find AAT more challenging that other quals. But it's very rewarding too. You have to get 70 percent to pass an AAT exam.
