Microsoft Invoice with Ireland address

Have got an invoice for hosting services from Microsoft and the invoice says its Microsoft Ireland and a Dublin address. There is a line showing total tax. How do I treat this in terms of VAT? Thanks.

Hi there,

Provided you are a VAT registered business in the UK then I would have thought they should have zero rated this for VAT purposes.

This sounds like a case where Reverse Charge VAT would apply if you're VAT registered. You may need to give them your VAT number and get a new invoice from them, because I don't suppose that you can charge Irish VAT to HMRC.
