What questions Sonya?

How can a healthy economy be killed by the failings of a Neighbour?

How can this sort of thing happen again after the lessons "learned" from the icelandic banking chrisis?

How might this turn even uglier if the Russian investors don't get their stolen money returned?

How can a single European currency ever work in two tier Europe with everything South of the line sucking money from everything North of the line?

The whole thing is just way too complex to allow politicians to be involved in it but unfortunately the whole excercise was attempting to engineer a single Europe but the world doesn't work that way.

Poloiticians point to the Amercan model of a single currency but omit that such was earned in blood, not by political agreement.

All in all, tto quote the old Chinese curse. We are living in interesting times.

Let's not forget how painful reunification was for the Germans when the vibrant Western side merged with decrepit East. Took a long time for Germany to recover economically.

I'm absolutely astonished! The one place you think YOUR money should be safe in is a flippin bank!

We went to Cyprus last year or the year before??? It was evident businesses were struggling - what chance do they have? :((((

Well they keep smashing all the crockery for no apparent reason so i'm not surprised that businesses were suffering.

Mystic Neil I doubt you will be far wrong, a real Government vote winner and an uprising in the offering, are the lunatics really running the assylum that we call UK? But I am sure all the decision makers have a get out clause probably somewhere in the carribrean.
