Exporting bank rec into excel

Like in sage you can export the reconciliation into Sage, can this be done for QB aswell?

Yes you can, once the bank rec has been done, you'll get an info box come up saying about the report of the reconciliation. It's has 'summary' 'detail' and 'both' choose what ever you want then press display.

Then when you have the windows up you should see at the top of them the magic button 'excel' click that and export like you normally would.

i know but i was hoping to export into excel before the reconciliation is completed so i can work on the reconciliation in excel

I don't think you can... Try to google it and find a video for it, it's what I normally do. :)

Hi there,

I have created a bank current account activity report which lists as debits and credits all the bank entries for a particular month (obviously you can change this to be whatever month you are working on). When you run this you then get the option to export to Excel as Gary mentioned above.

Don't think you can export from the bank rec window per se.

 In what way weren't you able to do that?  Create a bank report or export it into Excel?
