Form 4506-T??

I have been asked to provide a form 4506-T urgently and have NO idea what it is!!

Having done a quick search, it seems to be something listed under IRS and therefore US based and

is a form authorising copies of previous self-employed tax returns for mortgage purposes.

This is exactly the purpose and it is a mortgage lender who has requested it from my client.

Of course, as always, this is urgent!! Is there a UK equivalent??

Hi,

I think you might be after an SA302. You have to contact HMRC and ask them to send it out for the years you require. Some mortgage companies like to use them for evidence of income.

Yes thanks.......sorted........the client couldn't remember what the mrotgage guy had asked for and 'googled it'!!

Hence the American form reference!! Thanks again.
