Problem Filing On-Line CT600
Permalink Closed

Hello, I am trying to complete a CT600 on line for what is our first year in business.

I have all of the figures in a commercial software package so I am able to generate P&L, Trail Balance etc.

I have been entering the figures into the CT600 on line PDF but keep running into an error when I enter the P&L figure into box AC 74, the error is that the figures do not tally.

I would like to provide all of the figures from my Trail balance and P&L and show how I have entered them in the relevant AC boxes on the CT600 but prior to doing that wanted to see if I got any response indicating that there maybe someone out there prepared to take a look at them and assist me.

Would really appreciate any help with this I can get.

Thanks

The HMRC CT600 will not let you move on until the figures are right. When I've had that in the past I have had a rounding error somewhere so it was a pound out. The best thing to do is to round your P&L and Balance sheet on a spreadsheet before you start so that you are only dealing with whole pounds right from the beginning of the CT600. If that doens't work then hopefully someone else will be able to help. I got so annoyed with it that I bought taxcalc!
