Hi I am trying to make an advert in a local paper and I want to put the ICB crest at the bottom of the advert. I am using publisher to make the advert.
Does anyone know how I can put the crest on? I have managed to use the html thing to add it to the bottom of my email but can't seem to find a way to get it on to paper, there seems to only be a format for use with professional printers and cannot be downloaded on my computer.
Has anyone else used it on paper? or know how I can do this?
Been a while since I used that one but from experience with other logo's I often find that using MS Paint as an intermediary application works.
You can open most things then save in the format that you like (I tend to use JPEG).
Once you have it in JPEG or PNG or similar format then anything is easy to manipulate however you like.
Hope that helps get you started but sure that there will be others along with more straight forward suggestions imminently.
kind regards
Shaun.
p.s. Microsoft, post XP hide paint but it's still there.

If you go to the practice licence area of ICB website, under download copy of ICB crest, agree to the T&C and click on crest you want (ie colour / black & white) then it will give you an option to save. Save the file as a png and you can just insert as a normal picture.
Good tip for publisher is if you are using a colour background, you can make the png "transparent" so the background is not just white as it normally is in the png. I think it comes under the "picture" toolbar.
Just remember to get the advert approved by ICB before you use it
