I have Sage 50 Client Manager, and I want to open a client company in 2010, thats already been restored into it.  It mentions updating the software, but then it says the software is up to date but wont then open Sage?? Anyone seen this before?

Hi Foxy, interested to know the fix if you have time to explain. I know you can't spend too much time on here posting (lol) so if it's too lengthy i understand.

Sage made me delete the Watermark file, and rename ACCDATA to old, and create a new ACCDATA folder. That got me back into Sage 2010 - I wasn't bothered about losing the information within it, so just created a new company.

Then, it seemed the updates weren't applying to the correct folder, on either the client's sage 2010 or mine, so Sage made me download updates from the Sage website and run the files from outside sage.

They say that the updates are the last ever updates so there shouldnt be any future issues now that we are both on the same version
