I am using Sage at a client's premises and some of the customer ledger records are hidden from the usual customer ledger view. They are for customers that are no longer being used etc - however I am doing a manual bank rec on sage that spans a calendar year and payments in/out need to be correctly allocated to these customer ledgers (retrospectively)
When I try to do a customer receipt, I can select them but I can't access them to see the balances etc etc and I will need to reconcile these ledgers after I have cleaned up the bank rec going backwards.
I assume they are "hidden" by way of having a search active. Go to the customer ledger view, and up in the top right you should see an image of a magnifying glass, probably with text along the lines of "xxx of yyy records".
Click on the magnifying glass and it should show all records.

Thanks - I've never worked on client's sage where some ledger records were consistently kept separate - BUT YOU ARE TOTALLY RIGHT! it threw me as I could see they existed but couldn't see how to access them and I hadn't run any searches I just assumed all that were there, were there. so to speak...
