Issuing P45 to Employee

Hi,

since RTI it's not possible to file P45's online.  I've tried downloading a blank P45 to complete it manually using the information from our accounts system but all forms have "information only" stamped across them.

How do I give a P45 to the employee leaving us?

If your payroll software doesn't produce completed P45s you can obtain the stationery from HMRC's employer order line.

The HMRC order line will send them free in the post or you can download them. Might be worth ordering a few plus P60s ready for next year. Here is the link http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/payerti/forms-updates/forms-publications/onlineorder.htm
