A client had a bank account which gives him a few pounds a year cashback for paying his council tax, gas/elec and phone bills from his bank account. Would you count this as bank interest on his tax return? If not what would you do with it? Thanks.
I would net it off against one of the utility bills it relates to.. It is likely to be insignificant in the grand scheme of things so dont worry about apportioning it against all of them...
so post it as a bank receipt against one of the phone bills / gas etc..

Still sat here waiting for BT to move my phone line and broadband (1pm to 6pm) appointment to my new office... so got some time for some more responses (on BT wifi before anyone gets clever... )
