free-standing Dividend Database
Permalink Closed

Hi peeps - one of the requirements of our tax software is for ready access to interim and final dividends of commonly held FTSE shares.

I'm just trialling http://www.dcsoftwaresolutions.co.uk/sasubpro.aspx

and though the price is very competitive and procedure seems nice and easy, there is no sign of one in the products.   I've searched for years on the net for such a free-standing database without finding anything satisfactory.   They're usually an 'add-on' in SA tax software costing £50+

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks, Tim.

I must admit I use TaxCalc, which does have a dividend database as add on (£25+VAT!).

Personally I've never had a problem finding out what the dividends payment are. I have used a financial website for more than 10 years (www.moneyam.com) which gives the webpage access of pretty well every listed company out there, so I can find out via "investor relations" what the dividend are/were, should I need to.

Thanks Frauke. I will certainly use that for future reference.
