Website for small bookkeeping practice
Permalink Closed

Some shameless self promotion, but I am starting to offer a web development service to my fellow bookkeepers. To aid cashflow I am offering sites paid for on a monthly basis. They start at just £10 per month. Have a look at some of the sites I've done: www.ayrshireaccountancy.co.uk and www.ajbookkeepers.co.uk

Included in the £10 package is the initial design, up to 4 pages, 1 contact form, a .co.uk domain name, hosting, up to 5 email addresses and free updates through the year.

Dear all,

will you be so kind and could you recommend me some  cheap "website designer"?

How do you manage run your own website anyway?

I did try to create my one alone (trying to start to run my small bookkeeping practice along with my studies), but so far I did find quite expensive website provider & designer.... providing services with lot of unwanted services in one package ( ... what kind of sole trader needs 15 mail addresses?....)

I have my practice domain already.

Thank you very much for all your help related to this "online self-marketing"...

message to Kris: posted it on an old thread, didn't think you would see it so posted to your latest post

Hi Kris, thanks for your reply. I decided to go back to vista print for email and website because I've been going round in circles with 123 reg. Mail chimp looks really useful I will definitely be using that in the future. I saw on another post somewhere that you build websites for other bookkeepers from £10.00 per month. I'm getting so fed up of trying to do it myself (I'm useless at it) that I think it would just be so much easier to pay someone else to do it. Do you have a price list of what you do please?

Thanks

Rachel

also actually, I am using windows live mail and am trying to make a signature with the ICB crest at the bottom, I don't suppose you can design these? If I had in word or something exactly how I want it to look can you make it into whatever format I would need for windows live mail signature?

Message for Kris: I had webhosting and domain very cheap already (much less than £10,- sorry about this) so I was looking much more for web-designer than web-development. But THANK YOU very much anyway for advice.

I think you misread my post. £10 is not just for the domain and hosting, but the design and development too. I can offer it as a one off £120 if you prefer.

Sorry to trouble you Kris, after longer time - (I do not know what to do first - my full time job, my son holiday, start of my small practice... )   =

just a quick one = is there a chance that you will create just website for me (will send you all my possible info and logo) without any hosting and maintenance? I mean = no domain, no hosting, just creating website...

Thank you for reply.

Rastislav

P.S. of course - I will accept reasonable price for it.

Sure, that can be done for £100. To be honest, the hosting and the domain are really very cheap, the main cost is in the design and layout.

For this I'll work with you to come up with a design you really like and help you to put your text and graphics into it. Due to the rock bottom price here, you'd need to compile your own text and suitable images. I can help you source royalty free images at cost price.

Why don't you drop me an email at kris@ayrshireaccountancy.co.uk and we'll get the ball rolling.

Regards

Kris

Rachel - Sorry, I seem to have missed your post. As above if you email me we can work something out. I don't have a price list as such but we'll get a good deal thrashed out and get you a full quote.

Kris
