Some of you may already know, as i have made no secret of the fact, that i have held a desire to become a tutor for Bookkeeping/Accounts/Accountancy students.
After pursuing my dream match within this business for quite some time I would like to announce my marriage to Premier Training... Sorry folks, you missed the reception... There was cake and everything. The last few days have been a blur, it really has been this quick! However there is a bit of a story as to what i have been up to in the last few months which will help explain things a little better and which i'd be happy to share.
I have come to know most of you about as personally as one can without actually meeting and i think i may not have to write this but- This morning whilst writing (and editing and editing and editing some more) this little note, i am in no way advertising Premier, i am advertising my achievement, which i believe to be worth posting on BKN, after all, i read all your stuff haha.
You'll all know that any future posts will purely be my own and not a representation of the company, if anything i will probably have to reign myself in. Lastly, i'd like to thank the great many of you who grabbed me by the scruff of the neck and dragged me through the minefield which is bookkeeping, to safety.
It been great to have been here and witnessed the metamophasis from AAT student all the way through to what you have achieved.
Nice to see when the right people get the breaks.
Been a pleasure and an honour to have been along for the ride as you made your way to here.
Absolutely made up for you.... And also for Premier who have got themselves an absolute star.
Now, about that cake.....

Many congratulations. If you need any advice give me a shout .....only joking (and it's not even Friday). From Nicks posts on here he appears to be really happy there. Good luck with it all.
As you know I have already PM you but Neil I am thrilled for you and I am sure you will be an excellent tutor, your last email to me told me a lot about yourself as a person and that is you care, the most important thing is getting that buzz knowing that someone you have taught now has the ability to change their lives, I am in no doubt that AAT students will soon be shouting your name from the rooftops of every major city IN THE WORLD (Jeremy Clarkson) told me to say that.
Wishing you the best of luck in your new position. Good On Ya Bud.

What i meant when i said 100mb was access to a 6 bedroom apartment and a Lamborghini Diablo, it was a mere slip. I remember typing that on a notebook and the keys are oh so close together. It was an easy mistake, could have been made by anyone.
You wouldn't like the Diablo. You just end up having high speed crashes with speed bumps.
Personally I thought that when you said 100mb you meant 100 million baht which at current exchant rate against the Thai Baht would be £2,055,774.10.
... Do you need the phone number for the Koenigsegg showroom?

Its "just Jane" at the old airfield in East Keal. There's also a two seater spitfire there (very rare) and lots of bits of shot down German planes although you have to take their word for it that its a bit of a plane and not the smashed up alternator from a 1972 Ford Escort thats on display.
Think that it costs £160 to be taxied up and down the runway in her but she's not allowed off the ground.
The airfields about half a mile from his grannies so he used to virtually live there as he was growing up.
Not far away there's also the one at Conningsby (Phantom of the Ruhr) which is part of the battle of britain memorial flight (but your not allowed in that one).

......... Yey, been ages since we had posts going as off piste as this one.
Those were the days
Spent five years of my teenage life doing an apprenticeship at a British Leyland garage. It's no wonder they went belly up. Used to find brand new parts left in the vehicles from the factory when I did the pre delivery inspections, like mirrors, gear levers, and all sorts of other things. Although they used to fall apart a lot so maybe they were meant for the new owner as a spare!! Even found a fifty pound note stuck in the carpet glue, in the boot of a Morris Marina (as an apprentice, on a pre taxed pay of £8 a week, I was flush for several week's)
Oops that just aged me
Bill
Edit: I thought I would point out that my avatar is not me. I do actually look a lot younger

Right, cheers Shaun. More near Skeggy then. I think that'll be the one my Dad had a ride in. Did you see the "Who Do You Think You Are" on Minnie Driver?
Thats the one. Off the top opf my head I think its about 15 miles inland from Skeg (complete aside, Skegness means long nose in Norse. All that area was part of the Dane Law so got Norse names. Look at that whole area on a satelite map and you can see the long nose).
Missed the Minnie Driver one (don't seem to get to see much TV at all any more). Was the link to that area or to the Lanc?
Actually, the Lanc should have more links to my area as it was made just down the road at Longbridge by Austin Morris... If it had been made by them after they became British Leyland I'm pretty sure that it would have disolved into a rusted heap by now!).

Hi Shaun - re. Minnie Driver. Her father was a Wellington front gunner in the Heligoland raid and was turned into a Hotspur-style comic hero. I won't spoil it any further cos it's well worth watching and I think it's still available on BBC iPlayer for a few more days.
Are you all sorted for Monday morning Neil? You will be working with me, so we need to at least need to look professional for the first hour, and then normal service can resume!
We are all looking forward to it.
have a good weekend
Nick
