Best way to purchase SAGE line 50
Permalink Closed

Hello  to all Sage experts on here!

I may have to set up a new Sage for a  potential client, who wants to get Sage line 50.

From my own experience, when in the past I called up Sage company, I had long conversation with Sage sales people trying to sell me

Sage at a price which I thought was too high.

If any of you helped their client to purchase Sage recently, please, share your experience. Also, if you have any advice on negotiating price with

the sales people, this would be helpful too. Big thank you in advance!

Hi

Your best bet is if you know a Sage Accountant Partner who gets 40% discount, also if moving over from another software package they have deals giving an additional 15% off...

You can do google search and there are loads selling at about 35% discount of RRP...

Or if you dont know one and want to go direct to Sage then at least ask for the 15% change of software deal...

Hope that helps

Jeremy

Firstly, if they want Sage do they actually need it to be Sage Line 50? What features do your client need that are in that but not in Sage Instant? There's a very big difference in price between the two, so consider Instant if it will do the job.

Secondly, if they really do want/need Line 50, don't buy it directly from Sage: Do a search, and you'll find resellers-a-plenty who offer it (and support) for less than Sage do themselves. It's still very pricey, but every penny saved helps.
