VAT 65A

Hi,  I have a client who needs a VAT65A completing for goods he is taking back to his own country.

I've had a look at the form on the internet and most of it looks straightforward.

Has anyone got experience of this that may be able to guide me?

Elaine

The form is simply the confirmation of business status, HMRC can provide one, usually quite quickly.

Hi Les,

Thanks for the response. The client is wanting to claim VAT back. I have never done this before but am willing to have a go at it and would phone HMRC if I was unsure of anything.
I have no idea how much to charge for something like this. I am guessing it won't take much more than an hour of my time.

Any suggestions on how much to charge?

Regards,

Elaine

Do charge by the hour. I don't see many of these, so I don't have a fixed fee for the work.
