Hi Chris

Try this: www.reachskills.org.uk/

I am also in the Manchester Area and signed up with Reach last year. I had 2 offers of voluntary work within 48 hours of signing up!

I accepted a position as Treasurer for a local branch of a large charity organisation.

Neil.

Hi Spamkebab,

have you got any other website of volunteering jobs for accounting students, because the one that you adviced is good but only if you have, at least, 3 years of previous experience.

Many Thanks

Jacob

Thats a B- for you Neil. Must try harder with those links.

Jacob, Neil did not have three years prior experience in this field when he got 2 job offers in 48 hours.

He did however have AAT level IV under his belt and the unerring support of absolutely everyone on the site that knows him.

His assistance to people with technichal issues I am sure got him noticed well beyond the normal contributors here and as such he went on to become an AAT tutor with one of the countries top training providers.

One can learn a lot from Neils posts and his attitude of if you want to pass AAT then study ACCA.

Have a read through some of his old posts at the level of advice that he was giving whilst still a student and you will see what I mean.

kind regards,

Shaun.

p.s. right, now I really do have to go...
