Starting my own business
Permalink Closed

HI Everyone,

I am new to all this so please bear with me. I have recently handed in my notice at work, and plan to start my own bookkeeping business. I have to give 3 months notice, so I'm thinking I should have time to write a business plan, do some advertising and get some clients in that time! Eek!

I am currently the treasurer of a local charity group and have been running the accounts for an auto centre with 4 branches, so I do have some experience. I have also completed levels 2 & 3 of AAT, trying to do level 4 but don't seem to have the time!

So, that's me. Oh I should probably also say, my name is Carol

Hi Carol,

Good on you for being proactive. The very best of luck with your new venture. There's lots of expertise on here if you need any advice.

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position
