The SAGE accounts file should have everything they need.
From payroll viewpoint they will probably just need to know the payroll details that agrees to the wages total in the accounts to confirm the payroll records agree to the accounts
Hi I agree with Mark - ask them, as all Accountants are so different with their requests. Some want to see all VAT reports (detailed ones including the summary) and some dont. Some want to see the actual purchase and sales invoices and some dont. One I dealt with recently wanted me to 'prove' all the figures in the balance sheet (so as Mark suggests just needed to see the total from payroll software agreed with the balance sheet) and then he would be content that the P&L was correct.
Its also worth asking if they will be providing you with a list of year end adjustments or if they will do all of that. I also tend to say 'let me know if you want me to do anything differently' - I dont usually get any suggestions back but they like being asked.
