We are a small and growing accountancy practice based in Surrey. We have a great office atmosphere and provide a great service to our clients and we are looking to expand the business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Undertaking bookkeeping activities on Sage, Xero, and other software
- Bank reconciliations
- Debtor/creditor ledger reconciliations
- posting journals
- VAT returns
- getting the books up to trial balance stage
- Processing payroll on Sage payroll
- Proficient in usual Microsoft office products
Experience
We are looking for someone with at least 4 years bookkeeping experience who has worked in practice and is looking to manage a client portfolio. The candidate should be able to work independently at client site as well as a part of a team in the office
Job Specifics
Permanent full time
40 hour working week - 9am to 6pm
Offering £20-24K
Office based in Leatherhead and clients are all in the local area including South London so the candidate should be happy to travel up to an hour to get to clients if required.
