Avnet, a global leader in the B2B technology sector, based locally in Stevenage is currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to join a small team within Corporate Finance. This role, sits within the Electronic Marketing, EMEA Corporate Finance team and will be a pivotal role in supporting the Corporate Finance Director and team providing strong financial controls, insightful analysis, automating systems and improving processes. With ever increasing emphasis on Business Intelligence tools, a key aspect of the role will be to develop systemic solutions for legacy processes used to consolidate and analyse EMEA results.

 

As the Senior Finance Manager you will have the following key responsibilities:


- Consolidation of regional group results in accordance with US GAAP, using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
- Periodic reporting to US parent.
- Financial analysis.
- Benchmarking for EMEA region, supporting executive functional leaders.
- Developing and maintaining effective performance indicators to monitor business performance.
- Co-ordinating and consolidating the annual EMEA long range planning process, and budget preparation for regional Corporate functions.
- Developing and improving tools using SAP Business Warehouse.


Who we're looking for:


A Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA Accountant with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others. The ideal candidate will be motivated to achieve results and a self starter. As the Senior Finance Manageryou will work as part of a busy small team, you will be a versatile learner who can initiate change and continuous process improvement to result in positive impact to the business. As the role develops, in time there will be opportunity to add new duties and develop further. It is essential that you have used SAP Business Warehouse.
