RTI Glitch - HMRC problem
Permalink Closed

This may be old news but I have 3 clients whose payroll I complete and each has a payment outstanding on the HMRC website for the November period due 20 December despite the amount being paid to HMRC.

After contacting HMRC they say there is a problem with the RTI at their end for information and payments received for November/ December period.

Just thought i would enlighten you with this information to save anyone else wondering what was happening and spending time trying to sort it out.  I have left the ball in HMRC court!

Hi Roz. Do you access each of these three clients via their own Dashboard ?

I've always wanted to see up to date balances.

Ive been able to login to clients HMRC accounts and can view via their VAT login (etc) how much has been paid and is o/s - goes back about three years if i recall. (Dont know anyone who has set up their dashboard though so not sure if its on there!)

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position
