Shaun - can you file partnership tax returns on-line through the VT Transaction+ software?? I have it but I am not sure that it can file partnership returns straight to HMRC? I have gone and bought Andica now, thinking that I could not use VT Trans Plus for this.

Thanks

Hi Rachel,

VT Transaction+ is a bookkeeping package which produces basic P&L and B/S's but there is no tax facility within it.

VT Accounts takes either direct input or a feed from VT Transaction+ to produce accounts and basic corporation tax computations. It can also be used to format the accounts in iXBRL format.

VT Accounts will produce Partnership accounts.

For the filing of tax returns you will need to use something else such as BTC, Andica, Taxcalc, etc.

It sounds as though you have done the right thing.

HTH,

Shaun.
