Hi, I used to do the payroll for a company that has since closed down and I thought the final submission had gone through successfully but I have been looking over my files to archive and it looks like it didn't submit successfully. I tried to submit it but today but they have stopped using the payroll service so I can't access their HMRC account for PAYE and therefore it won't submit.
Is there any other way of submitting a final payment submission? Such as a good old fashioned form?
not sure then -normally you can still access the account at least until the tax year end- it may be worth a call to HMRC to ask what they want you to do
