You have to laugh (at HMRC!)

Hi all,

Hope nobody here is much affected by the flooding.  There's been quite a bit of flooding in Essex but nothing like elsewhere in the country.

Anyway, on to my subject.  I was opening some post at one of my client's the other day and had a letter from HMRC saying that she was receiving this letter as they were replacing the Employer payment booklet and all returns must be submitted online!  Well, I have been doing her books and payroll for four years now and she was filing online before I took over from her previous bookkeeper!  What's the matter with them!!  Lol

I've had some but I've also had a book for someone who pays online!! Can't get a book for someone who has always used them and lost it, despite two letters and a phone call.

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position
