Foreign workers and paperwork required

Hi

Ive been given copies of some paperwork for a new employee to set up on the payroll system. There is no NI number yet (its apparently been applied for!). I have a copy of the passport page showing the photo - its an Australian passport.  Also one page of a 'UK Ancestry Visa' issued in Manila showing 'UK Entry Clearance' and the words 'UK Ancestry - Employment' , valid from 8/1/14 to 8/01/19.

Does this sound ok/like a work visa? Do I need anything else?

Hi Joanne

There are a few obscure right to work visas about. The one I have had dealings with is the Youth Mobility Scheme.

This Border Agency web page gives the details, just make sure you have copies of everything.
