17 meetings left this month (that's more than 1 per day average), anyone on here attending one?
They are all meetings organised by bookkeepers for bookkeepers.
Some great topics including how to turn dreams into reality, Excel tips, working with accountants, auto enrollment, overcoming the fear of presenting and more... and guests including Chartered Accountants, Financial Advisers, Software Providers and ICB's own Garry Carter and other ICB staff will be attending some.
Having attended the Glasgow branch meeting on numerous occasions I would encourage all ICB members to attend these meetings when possible. The Branch Chairpersons put a great deal of work in to organise presentations and discussions with industry professionals, and I include ICB staff and associates in this, where their knowledge and experience is there for all to share. Whether you are already qualified or still studying, the networking and professional advice available could be essential to your career progression.
Having managed to scratch my cornea by getting sawdust in my eye while building my garden office - I'll get to one once I can see to drive!
(and when my eye stops streaming tears as it has been for the last 4hrs)
You are a regular ICB Conference attendee, so perhaps you have already benefited from the networking and knowledge base available via the Branch Meetings. Forget that though, I hope your eye is feeling better soon. Garden office sounds good , I'm sure the pain will be worth it
That London meeting is members only, but I see from your other post (which I will reply to next) that you want to join ICB so give them a call.
Do you have an ICB account already? You would only have one if you have registered on their forum or shop, if not they can take your details over the phone.
