I've tried accessing the book-keepers network website over the last couple of days only to get a message that it has been taken down. Has someone finally overstepped the mark and called a hit on Shaun?
Not going to name fingers or point names and as usual non ICB members cannot reply to it anyway.
Ignoring the bit about me in there, has anyone been having problems with this site over the last month or so? Brian kindly gave a reply suggesting that the issue was with the .net version of the site (access to the forum via the BKN portal rather than directly).
As a rule I don't monitor the ICB site (which explains me taking two months to notice this message) so can I ask if anyone has any issues with this site to please post a message as soon as they are able and I would check / escalate it immediately.

I had the problem at the end of January with the .net version and it was only by reading Brians comment that I found that there was another option. Not sure when the .net version problem was solved as I started using the .org version from then.
like Theresa I only use the .org version which is why I'd not noticed this.
As it seems to have been resolved I won't raise a special incident report for it but I will mention it in my next note to Steve to try and find out what happened.
Thankfully the site issues are quite rare. Last site outage I remember I was on contract in Edinburgh so that was mid 2010. That aside we had the issue over duplicate posts being made about a year back which was actually down to a software upgrade by the hosting company.
Thanks again for the extra info,
kind regards,
Shaun.
