I was wondering how much other people are charging for end of year with RTI? there isn't as much work as previously. Do you charge per P60/P11D? Do you charge for the end of year statements etc. If it is included in your monthly fee what would you charge for 3 employees on a monthly basis. I don't want to overcharge but then payroll doesn't make much money for me so it needs to be worth my while.
My fees are a set amount then various discounts are added depending on number of employees. There is an employer fee of £50 each year payable before the end of April.
So for monthly paid employees it is £2.50 per payslip. (5 employees 5% discount, 10 employees 7.5% discount etc).
There is also a 10% standing order discount (on payslip charges only) if it is paid by standing order. I'm not as modern as some of these other bookkeepers that do it by direct debit and so can change the amount.
So your example would be £140 per year. This includes the year end stuff as well.

I have a charge of £12.50 per month for the first employee and £2.50 per month for each additional employee. So in the case of 3 employees that would be (£12.50 + (2 x £2.50)) x 12 = £210 per year. That includes everything for payroll eg monthly RTI, payslips, reports, year end filings.
Brilliant thanks. I've been charging £20 a month plus extra for set up and forms eg P45s so I guess I shouldn't be charging too much if anything for year end then.
