Corporate Tax and Final Accounts Costs
Permalink Closed

Hi

Just wondering how much Accountants usually charge to submit final accounts and calculate corporate tax. I have a client that is a small VAT registered company that will need someone to do this for them in the future. I'm have a registered practice with the ICB but as a member am only able to draft their final accounts. Ideally, I'd like to have someone to pass the work onto for future clients

Many thanks

Carla

I would probably charge £600 plus VAT. I work with a few bookkeepers who pass me their end of years to do and I subcontract some bookkeeping work to them.

If you would like to look at how we might be able to work together, my email address is ruth@shoreaccounting.co.uk

Thank you, Ruth

I've got a couple of calls to make tomorrow and will be in touch soon. Think you're far enough a field without 'poaching' on territories. I've got no interest in adding a premium to the 'complete service' just want to be able to take on bigger clients without them having to find an Accountant to finalise things for them on top on my service.

Hi Carla

Price from my viewpoint would depend on a couple of things; what turnover is and quality of records.

My new updated website, www.stewartaccounting.co.uk (you might need to type web address into your browser rather than using link below as the link below takes you to the old website that is now offline), has a full list of my prices for services provided though as you arent needing; payroll, personal tax returns, annual return submission and fee protection insurance I would be able to give you a discount on my listed fees.

Unlike Ruth I am not currently VAT registered so would probably be a 1/6 cheaper than Ruth on a like for like basis.

I am based in Central Scotland and currently act for about 120 clients and like Ruth I work with a few bookkeepers.

If you want to give me a call on 01259 721156 or email me on mark@stewartaccounting.co.uk could have a chat about how could assist with this client and future work.

Regards

Mark

Just took a look. Has to be the best, most professional website that I've seen linked from this site. Nice one Mark.

p.s. I really like the price selector tool.

Hi Carla,

If you'd like to have a chat regarding services and costs, please contact me either by email or phone - 07815 761545. I am also not VAT registered and work from home so I can keep my costs down.

Kind Regards
Debbie

Hi Debbie

Just had a look at your website.

You could have at least be a bit more creative and changed a few words rather than copying word for word under your services and why choose us tab.   Thought it looked similar but it is exactly the same as was on my old site.

Though given I have a new site guess not really an issue. (probably should see it as a backhanded compliment that you copied my site).

Regards

Mark

Thank you for those who replied, I'll be in touch once things have calmed down and the Easter Holidays are out the way.

Depends on the level of work you require, but £600 for accounts, minutes of meetings, dividend vouchers, Corporation Tax Return and personal tax returns would not be unreasonable.

You can contact me at mark@truemanbrown.co.uk or 01708 671910.
