Service Agreement

Hi 

I will be starting my own book keeping and accountancy services very soon but can't figure out what kind of "Service Agreement" should be in place between me and my clients. I Know this may very from client to client or job to job but there must be something to start with. 

 

I did a lot search but it always it come up contractor services but no specific agreemnt/contract.

Kindly help.

You may get more luck if you search for "Letter of Engagement" as thats what we call them. Have a look at www.bkpr.co.uk to download a copy.

lol Kris, the one that I picked up earlier was simply someone joining to push their link rather than the link being in answer to a question.

Just had a glance. The BKPR site seems quite different to the last time that I visited it. Definitely looks a labour of love that you've been developing there.

I can't take all the credit Shaun. There have been a number of people helping to fill the files. Sharon from 4-accounting has been sending a lot recently, in fact the letter of engagement is hers.

The blogs are really just somewhere else to vent my spleen, however membership is growing. I think there was about 700 registered users the last time I looked.
