I have just been on HMRC and looked at my Payroll clients and have noticed that it's saying "Previous year not filed" and next to all of my client list it says NO?? Am I missing something ? I use Moneysoft and submitted a final EPS for each of them??
Sorry Tim, I don't understand your answer? I have submitted all my EPS 's for my clients for the year 13/14 ....So shouldn't it say "Previous year filed, YES"?
Can somebody else check their status on the HMRC website?? And let me know if they have the same messages..... I think it may be that there is no requirement to submit a P35 and the HMRC site has not been updated??
Hi Georgie, sorry about that - spot of man-flu. In previous years - it would just have meant that the P35 hadn't been filed - which, as you know, were free to do up to 19th May.
I've been online today with no problems. There was an announcement a couple of weeks ago about delays in response but I've just tried and the 'Service Availability' page is just opening the Agent Log in page so thats no help.
Think you may have hit the nail on the head with your last thought.
Mine are all still saying NO, and about half have been filed so far - including a couple that were done with the final FPS during the last week of March!
Think it's HMRC's system not realising that P35's don't exist :)
Makes me laugh - am trying to file some now and the EPS (using Sage) won't go through as "HMRC are currently experiencing delays in processing submissions". Please don't tell me they're surprised at the volume of traffic on their system, as everyone needs to file by 19 April!!
