PAYE Yr End Issues with RTI / HMRC...
Permalink Closed

Hi. Is anyone else going around in circles with HMRC and RTI for the year end...?

I only do payroll for my own business. Have used the Basic Tools software all year, and did the final year end submission on 10 April. All submissions on the Basic Tools says they have been submitted successfully, and I have email confirmations.

Went onto my gateway account on HMRC for PAYE last night, as I wanted to check that I wasn't missing sending something in :

It says under File Returns and Forms Online that 'You have End of Year forms that were rejected by HMRC. It is also showing we need to complete P11D's, when I flagged on RTI that they weren't needed. BUT its not saying what has been rejected??

So a call to HMRC Employer helpline this morning - and they say they can't see the year end submission I made on 10 April and suggest I call the Online Submissions Helpline (0300 200 3600). Have just spent 20 mins waiting in a queue, (and thats at 8.15 in the morning!) and have given up for now.

Anyone got any ideas what might have gone wrong....?
