Help Please.. Payroo software & Employer Allowance.. Panic..
Permalink Closed

Hi ya,

I have recently migrated my payroll to the Payroo bureau system, so far, fabulous! but..

The employer allowance does not seem to appear anywhere in the reports.

I have ticked the employer allowance indicator, processed the first months payroll, payslips still show with ER NI ok, P32 summary - no deductions!! EPS sent with employer allowance indicator ticked as yes..

Am i missing something?? is there a step by step guide order of setting up and starting out in order to activate?

Any help would be massively appreciated, since i'm in a panic..

However, HMRC PAYE tools, works perfect! grrr

Many thanks

Claire

Hi Claire

When you print your Employer Payment record (P32), there is a column on there which shows you
how much Employer Allowance you are taking in the payroll period, and the total due is adjusted
accordingly.

Obviously, that will rack up until it hits the £2,000 and then stop.

Hope this helps.

Eunice

(oops, just reread your post and you have said it doesn't appear on the P32, sorry! Does the column

appear at all, or not ?)

Did you definitely save your changes after you ticked the box ?

If I were you I would email support at Payroo, they have always come up with the
answers to any queries I have had.

The Column for the P32 appears, but the month 1 box is empty, I have tried calling Payroo, but I'm quite deaf, so find it hard to understand the bloke, They are not responding to their E-mails either, which is really frustrating.

If I go back to the client employer set up and check the details, all is ticked.. and saved.. so im really at the end of my tether now as have a rather large number of clients to process before Monday..

Claire,

Have you completed the process, i.e. save payroll date, approved payroll date, and updated yearly data ?

(The descriptions might not be correct, I'm doing this from memory!)

Eunice

Hiya Eunice,

Yes, I have done the full payroll, entered pay, saved and processed, updated YTD so no roll back, done the FFPs as small company and new system, then the FPs, then finally the EPS to inform HMRC of the new details..

It's so strange.. HMRCs system works fine.. and is so clear on how to use.

Hi Claire,

Go to Chart of Setup from the Employer / Setup drop down menu and click the Employment Allowance Indicator link under the Payrun Customisation section.( Middle column and about half way down the options).
Now click on the Edit button. Select the "yes/no" option - obviously you want "yes" and save.

Payroo's FAQ section 4700 has this information, and more detail.

Hope this helps?

Dave
