How does the new £2000 employment allowance work on 12pay please?
Permalink Closed

Hello

I have a client who has been asking me how to claim the new £2000 employers allowance, I've looked it up and it's telling me that I can claim it through my payroll software - I've had a good look around 12pay but can't see anything anywhere.

Can anyone tell me how this works and how to use it on 12pay?

Thanks in advance

Rachel

There is a check box to tick on the employer details page.

Lovely thanks Susie, I've just found it now (after starting at the screen for 10 minutes)

Can every employer claim this or do they have to have received a letter from HMRC?

Hi Sammy, I think anyone can claim - my client didn't receive a letter from HMRC and it seems to have gone through fine
