confuse Hi Everyone,

I have a new client whom it starting a property development limited company but when the properties are complete wishes to rent them. I am looking for suitable cost effective software which will enable CIS to be submitted and moving forward record rental income and provide tax liabilities? Any ideas I'm not keen on Sage disbelief

Hi Jackie,

I don't know every supplier on the market but would say that many of us employ 3 separate solutions for CIS, Bookkeeping and Tax Return software.

To start the ball rolling take a look at Taxcalc Pro Micro Practice for 12 Individuals, 5 Partnerships, and 5 Companies.

They do single versions for each tax but if you're doing the CT, then perhaps you're doing the director's SA Returns too.

I haven't tried free http://www.payroocis.com/ and have been happy to stay with my usual payroll / CIS supplier

Rental income specific is available out there as part of Property Management software but I don't have a recommendation and will leave this open for any, perhaps integrated solutions others may suggest.

Instaed of taxcalc and moneysoft solutions you can also opt for IRIS CIS Payroll offering some additional; advantages such as storing the UTR (Unique Tax Reference) for your company and electronic monthly tax returns to HMRC.

Hey Shaun,

I'm not aware of 12pay payroll software. I google for the 12pay and looked for the feature. Excellent - a wealth of features (more than IRIS CIS) specifically designed to save you costs associated with your payroll. Thanks for the mention.

Hi Kundan,

Actually, as of late last year 12pay became part of the IRIS stable of products so both IRIS payroll and 12pay really come under the same umbrella.

12pay, like moneysoft payroll has a large following amongst bookkeepers in the UK due to the combination of product quality, price and unlimited clients under a single licence.
