can someone please help. This question is to just double check.
If I am given a purchase invoice relating to a earlier purchase quater in a later quater can I include it in the current quater? I think yes.which I do. How far back can I go.is there a limit? I am given invoices from March 2013 this year.can I include them in this quater? I,m sure this is a very common problem when dealing with small client who never seem to keep their records in order despite numerous reminders!
You can claim VAT going back up to 4 years on a VAT Return. There is a limit of £10,000 for such adjustments on a single VAT Return. See PN 700/45, chapter 4 for more information on this point.
