Hi

I have recently set a paypal business account that sales orders will be paid into with a charge/commision included in these receipts.  

Can you tell me what nominal to set up the paypal account with am I right in thinking 1231 along side Petty Cash?

Hi Claire

You can rename the building society account, which I think is 1220. That should allow you to do a monthly bank reconciliation, where you balance Sage to Paypal (getting the same closing balance) and then you can mark all those transactions as being sorted. You can double click the account and you should see that the "no bank reconciliation" box is unticked.
