You'll love it Dave, the dream sequence in series two is a bit unbelievable but the alien landing in series 4 is spot on....

OMG Shaun, like it we love it, we managed the first 4 episodes last night and your right it leaves you wanting more, is his brother in law going to find out what he is doing, the fact there were so many season means that there are going to be loads of twists and turns and if he has not checked the broken plate in the bin he would be dead now, game of thrones is on Netflix as well so going to give that a go afterwards, cheers for the heads up

Dave

Oi quit spoiling it for me, I've avoided anything to do with it like the plague damn it biggrin

Worry not Dave, it doesn't turn daft. Just keeps improving with each season moving up a gear.... Rob's not lieing but he's just messing with your head. (For aliens read illegal aliens... Thats not giving anything away, its set in New Mexico, it won't give anything away that there will be Mexicans in this story).

Apparently they are now seriously considering three spin off series (all for characters that you haven't met yet).

1) Better Call Saul : A spin off for the lawyer Saul Goodman.

2) The rise of Gus : Very important plot line that has loads of scope for much more back story

3) An unnamed as yet idea related to the back story of two of the nephews of Hector Salamanca

All spin offs would be prequels and I make no comment as to whether any or all of the above characters survive breaking bad.

Basically, the success of breaking bad could if they chose set it up as a franchise whilst not needing to see any other series to appreciate the original (similar to what has been done with Fargo).

As for Game of Thrones... Very, very, very clever story where you almost need a wall chart to keep track of whose who... You would also need a big black marker pen to put crosses through characters names.... Make that two big black markers, one's not enough.

Those with claims to the throne, or just have some relationship to those with claims to the throne, have a lower life expectancy than first world war pilots.

And don't let the fact that a star is playing a character make you think that will see them breathing any longer!

Boy you're in for a load of great TV matey.

Have a great weekend,

Shaun.

biggrin All I know so far is he throws a pizza on the roof for some unknown reason. You have a good weekend too, my kids and missus aaaand the dog are all going away for a week so it's going to be hard for me over the next week, hopefully I'll cope on my own with only Skyrim, Breaking Bad and the pub to keep me company, maybe a few visits from the local kebab shop delivery man no

Seems good to me Cook... Sorry, Rob.

Saul Goodman, because you don't need a Crimal lawyer, you need a CRIMINAL lawyer.

I think a spin off with Saul would be brilliant...my favourite character.

I might need to try this Games of Thrones thing then if it's on Netflix.
