Van Mileage Record Keeping

Hi there,

My husband uses his van only for business purposes(limited company). Does he have to keep a record of every trip he takes ?

Many Thanks

K

If there is no personal use, then the answer is no.

He can also use the van for the odd incidental trip, I think from memory HMRC suggest a trip to the tip to dispose of an old mattress would be ok but regular trips to Sainsburys etc would mean the van would be a benefit in kind.
