Just because I am feeling a little pleased with myself thought I would share my news - I recently decided to take an additional module with AAT - Business Tax as it wasn't offered as an option when I originally took my AAT - and after a five week college course I took my exam and PASSED!!!

Now - what to study next .........

Well done Sharon.  BTX is one of the hardest units under the AAT.

Thanks Sharon.  Yep, I've decided to go the self study route for Level 2 and will set one day a week aside to do it.  Aiming to complete it within 6 months all being well.  I know there are 5 modules to do but at what stages do I take the exams?  I'm a little lost on that one.

Hi John
I did my AAT and the additional module at college so was always given the date of the exam but it was always at the end of each module so I would do the same otherwise you tend to get bogged down with too much information-especially when you get to level 4 !

Level 4 I will definitely be doing at college I think. If all goes to plan I intend to do Level 3 either self study or (preferably) distance learning and get both levels completed by next September.  Then a year at college doing level 4 because that will be hardest and it will be good to interact with other students.

I did enjoy the interaction and being able to bounce questions etc off other students , I couldn't learn as quick when I started on home study

The 'woman' who isnt from the US keeps trying, bless her little cotton socks (not!) Keeps picking on old posts thinking the spam squad or the ninja mod wont spot it. Fool! Funny to see two of yours together though after all this time, John.

Never mind the irony of the post chosen for other reasons!!!!!!!!!

Hi Joanne

I thought Shaun had banned "Jessica" after the last attempt.

And yes, the irony never escaped me either!

You wouldnt know if you havent gone far enough back on forum reading but Jessica is a serial spammer - not at all who she says she is.  Dredges up old posts to add her links thinking we will miss the addition of such a link.    We have a few who try it on, less than we used to, but our moderator is on it to get rid of the fools links!

Shaun has been on tonight and I notice that the link has been removed, so he must just be snowed under.

Think this is the woman that was jailed below  (Sharon that is not Jessica)

http://swns.com/news/award-winning-accountant-nicked-100000-69360/

She is probably now just out if she has behaved herself while banged up.

Sharon will be out now, there's no probable about it.  A 2 year sentence equates to 1 year in jail and (I think) the rest on licence.
