Hi I am new to bookkeepers forum.  I have just bought a gift voucher for a customer who had a complaint about one of our products.  Which nominal code in sage do I use for this expense?

Unfortunately, you'd have been better giving them a refund as gift vouchers for customers is not tax deductible.

I would put this to 7403 - UK entertainment (which can include gifts) and, as Kris says, its not tax deductible so you would disallow on the tax comp
