HI

I'm having a heart attack, someone please advise:

Client has just confirmed payroll ok to submit. I use Moneysoft but when I try and send the RTI it fails as it says my ID and password are incorrect. I have look in "Tools" checked my ID and password , they seem OK. What do I do now?

I know a lot of people don't do Twitter or Facebook but it can be handy at times. For instance, Moneysoft posted on both Twitter and Facebook about this scheduled upgrade with HMRC services and not being able to use the service.

Phew, all ok now thanks guys...

And no I don't do either now. I have a friend who posts the most ridiculous things on Facebook...Like a minute by minute account from the time she books her holiday to take off and snapshots of the hotel room, cocktails and the beach , then the flight home. Then there would be the posts saying how ill she was , or the really irritating posts where you couldn't make sense of them as she was looking for a reaction/sympathy .....who knows!? Then on a really , really, really bad day I used get the update of her work out at the gym. To be honest I would never assume that I would have anything remotely interesting to say to anyone on Facebook. I mean, who gives a toss really?? I was scarred for life so deleted it. Absolutely liberating! Of course the downside is I could have prevented the heart attack this afternoon. But in my opinion it was worth it!

Hi All,
For future reference if you go to he HMRC home page, at the bottom righthand side there is a link to "service availibilty" which will let you know of any planned or known issues for various departments. Not the trendiest site to visit on a Sunday I know, but will hopefully reduce stress levels now and again.

Regards Gordon
