how to delete post?

hi guys

I wonder if it is possible to delete post that has already been posted on forum. Can this be done only by admin or regular members can do it too?

You asked this before, I think via email rather than on the site and I'm still waiting for you to tell me which post you want deleted

If it is just a post then surely you can just edit it out

Don't know if you've read the link Steve but I went through all of the options.

If someone edits out the content of their post which is the basis of a discussion then I may end up banning them. They need to talk to me about what they want changed and why to determin the best approach forwards.

I've done it several times. Normally a slight tweak, occassionally a full deletion but in order to maintain the integrity of threads on the site Rafal is right in asking the question. I just need him to tell me which thread and why he wants it removed.

I then take a copy of the original thread and where necessary remove or alter the thread / post in question then I need to write a short report which keeps the sites PII happy.

Got to go out now but we'll carry this one on later.
