Hi 

was wondering if someone could help me with some postings?

one of the partners of the company paid for a retirement gift to a staff member on his personal credit credit card so will need paying back to himself! He also needs to split the cost with the other partner on their own drawings account. Can someone tell me what the postings would be?

Your journal would be:

DR P&L expense with 100&
Cr Partner 1 with 50%
CR Partner 2 with 50%
