Using software such as Andica that does not require agents to be authorised for the client. You use your Agent gateway ID and the clients UTR number to file.

Not used it myself but I was very close to around the 25th of Jan last year!

Just had a quick search and here's a relevant discussion : www.book-keepers.org.uk/t56528799/file-sa-without-log-in-details/

As Shaun, I would use Andica, as this lets you put your own ID in without needing the agent authorisation in place. I had to do it last year. I just recharge the client for the software, it was less than £20 so they weren't that bothered.

Hi Michelle,

Yes I saw the link Shaun posted to it...I will hang on for a few more days just to make sure my nerves are absolutely shredded, then I will buy it.

Most accounting software will allow you to file the return without needing the authorisation code. I use Gbooks for my stuff.

Another option is to use the clients own gateway code if they have one set up and file through there.
