I have just taken over the payroll at a company and there is someone who works free lance. He is in another country and would like to go on to payroll and be contracted.
I have not dealt with anything like this before, so does anyone know how to go about this and how this will effect both the company and the employee with tax?
If they work free lance are they not a supplier rather than an employee?
Do you mean that they want to be taken on as an employee? Are they a UK citizen living in another country? Are you sure that this is legitimate? Have you spoken with this potential employee and they really do exist.
