Employers Allowance in Moneysoft
Permalink Closed

Hi,

Does anybody know if there is a running total of how much Employers Allowance has been used so far without going back and adding up each month from last year? When I created new files for this tax year it brought over the Employers Allowance and I know one client of mine used his up months ago...

Georgie

Ok, I have looked at the analysis reports and you can see how much of the Employers Allowance was used last tax year.....But do you think the software will automatically stop claiming it when it has been used up this year?

Does it not start again from 6th April Georgie?  My understanding is that its £2k a year.

As far as I'm aware Moneysoft will automatically stop claiming it once the total hits £2k (none of mine did so I may be wrong on that)

I know the main query has been answered - but if you want to find the amount of Employment Allowance to date, I would have thought the easiest way to do so is clicking the P32 button and that shows the figure each month and the total to date at the bottom.

There's a column on the P32 that shows how much has been claimed back and, as with my clients case, it stopped at £2000 automatically.
