Sage 50 Accounts help please (sorry Shaun!!)
Permalink Closed

Hi everyone,

I have Sage 50 Accounts Client Manager 2011.

I have created a new company but it has copied another companies Nominal Ledger accounts and chart of accounts confuse rather than the standard.

Has my data become corrupt somewhere along the line????

Any help greatly appreciated

Hi Sue,

On my system the following directory seems to contain all the model COA definitions in xml format: C:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts\Configs\GBR.

COA.PNG

If you open then in a text editor you can see what is in there and maybe replace the corrupted one with a standard one from a different version.  Maybe You could replace your OwnCOA.XML with a standard one from another system.

I'd be happy to send you the above set if it would help you rebuild a standard set to get going.

Regards,

Hi Sue,

I've sent the General.xml file to the email address in your profile.

I hope this works for you.
